Installing a New Device

To install a device:

1. Choose New Device from the File menu.
(The Gadget Guide window opens. )

2. Select a device (for example, a lamp or appliance module) from the list, and click the Install button. (A new window with specific settings for the device opens.)

3. Edit the settings describing the new device. These include the device name, address, notes, and log device option. (The device will appear in the Installed Hardware window.
